“Reclaim, Reuse, Eco-Friendly” were all part of the brief for the fit out of this unique salon located on the bank of the River Foyle in Derry. Working hand in hand with the client and the architect, the finished product went on to win “N.Ireland Hair Salon Design of the Year”. Work stations were fabricated from reclaimed Victorian era sash windows, live edge elm work-tops feature on the 1st floor. The main reception features reclaimed mild steel cladding supporting a 3 inch thick slice of spalted English chestnut wood worktop with iridescent blue acrylic filling the natural voids in the worktop.
